Oh Oh OOOH! Now THIS was exactly what I was looking for!! I met up with a local photographer to share some posing techniques and unique ideas for her sessions. We took one of my FAVORITE seniors to downtown Raleigh. When we first drove into Raleigh we saw this bridge and thought…”WE NEED TO SHOOT THERE”! In the midst of trying to find it we came across some other AMAZING locations. Needless to say, we never found our way to the bridge BUT we did manage to make up for that with the great shots we took of Emily!!!

Rain…Rain…Come and Play | Wake Forest NC | Senior Photographer

It seems like the rain hasn’t let up these past couple of days…but for Priscilla and I…the rain made us come out and play!

We both bundled up and took on the rain and made it work for our session. We headed to downtown Wake Forest NC where I knew it would be a cute spot for our creative juices to flow. We broke out the umbrellas…and that was all she wrote. Singing, twirling, and dancing in the rain is all we did for the hour we had planned outside. Soon enough our fingers were frost bitten and we thought it was time to head inside, these pictures are my FAVORITE from the session! All we needed was one window, a chair and the rest came natural from Miss Priscilla!

You rocked it out girl!!

Oliwia is graduating this year! She is extremely excited and ready to take on the world by storm. We talked about what her plans were after high school and immediately she responded “college for sure” with a big grin. Although, she doesn’t know exactly what she will pursue just yet she has the mind and heart of a dedicated adult. Oliwia brought along her father for our session. You can tell she is a “Daddy’s Girl” and I asked her if she was and she smiled in agreement.

A local park seemed fitting for our shoot; the weather cold and cloudy. Oliwia was SUPER cute and dressed for the weather, while I wore the worst shoes ever and felt like my toes were frost bitten. In the end, Oliwia was such a good sport and posed to perfection!

Our North Carolina days are getting warmer and warmer, With temperatures reaching 70 degrees, Lauren and I were ready for out session! A gorgeous field and a beautiful girl made the perfect mix for an amazing shoot! We headed out with a couple of Lauren’s friends to the location and just had fun. Her friends, Alex and Seth, were sweet enough to help hold things here and there to make sure we get the shot for Lauren. We played around with some of the clothes Lauren brought along for the shoot and I must say she has impeccable taste!

The most beautiful blue eyes ever!

Now I know this image is a little different from my norm BUT I could resist doing something unique

OOOOOOO I was so excited for this shoot!! Alex is an AMAZING model. We headed to some of my favorite spots downtown, although we made a couple of wrong turns (due to my bad sense of direction), we made it to every location we both wanted to shoot at. For his session, we decided to go in a “GQ” direction for his wardrobe…and he did just that. Keeping it in the neautral tones for his clothing and letting the backgrounds make him pop was PERFECT for the “GQ” look!

For all my highschool seniors:

Keep in mind…girls are not the only ones that that senior pictures. Guys should take part in getting some great shot of themselves too!

This is by far one of my favorite shots of him!

Best feeling is to find a new little spot and have your model pose in it perfectly!

Emily was an amazing senior to shoot yesterday. We started out at a fun and cute location that her Mom had picked out (GREAT TASTE LISA!). We combined both my props with their props and just had a ball. Now Emily…not only is she fun, silly, and spunky she is very photogenic. Every picture I took of this girl was practically perfect in every way. Fun Fact: She is looking to start taking pictures as well. Her Dad has handed her over a Minolta!! What better way to start out as a photographer than with a CLASSIC!!!

After our fun on the farm we headed over to a cute spot in downtown and started playing with my favorite prop…the school desk! We had such a fun day together which really made me feel as though I was taking pictures of an old friend of mine!

Congrats Emily!!! You make Senior look good!

Graduating – {Raleigh NC Senior Photographer}

My second shoot in Georgia took place on Sunday and the day couldn’t have gone any better! Ooooh Miss Brittany…I had only known her for two hours and I just love her already (which btw…fun fact…Brittany is graduating from the same high school I did! Small world!!!). She was such a gorgeous girl with the best smile around. And let me just say… she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Brittany brought some amazing outfits which we only did two changes due to the fact we got so caught up in our conversations and laughter! We headed over downtown where we found some cute and unique locations that were screaming for me to take pictures. Brittany was the perfect model! All I had to do was give her very little instructions and she was in the pose with in seconds. I am so happy to have had the chance to work with her and hope to do so again!!!

Beautiful and Bubbly – {Raleigh NC Senior Photographer}

Spring was in the are for yesterdays colorful session! Earlier in the week I had saw this BEAUTIFUL field of flowers and thought it would be a perfect spot for senior portraits in Raleigh NC. These fields were AMAZING with the perfect pop of color for our pictures! Cami was just so much fun to pose! Practically everything she did was a pose. From having me point her in the right direction to just her taking a break was a cute pose! I love working with her! She is just full amazing bubbly laughter and energy! Man, I have such a special place in my heart for senior photography.
