Ashley and Sam | Personal Work | Raleigh NC Senior Photographer

“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”  Well in this case…Kimberlee, with Kimberlee Edwards Photography,  and I planned for a fun session on a gorgeous horse farm and it decided to rain on us.  Now this wasn’t just any kind of rainy day…I’m talking about pouring down rain with the temperature at 40 degrees and the wind making it feel as though it was 25 degrees.  Didnt matter…Ashley, Sam, Kim, and I bundled up all nice and warm…well mostly Kim and I.  Ashley and Sam were such good sports about taking on and off their jackets, along with running back and forth into the house to warm up and then heading back out to freeze again for pictures lol.  Needless to say the weather didnt stop us from having a great time!   Ashley and Sam were such a blast to hang out with!  I cant wait to work with them again later on in the year.

Family Photographer | Raleigh NC | The B Family

What can I say about this family other than they are SUPER CUTE! Last week was so beautiful outside.  I was so thankful that we were able to have their session on a day where the forecast was 70 degrees and sunny and not cold and rainy, lol.  Julie and Robert dressed everyone perfect…although I was told that the boys did pick out their jeans so all in all everyone helped picking out their adorable outfits:) It has been awhile since I had a family session so having a fun family like this made me missed doing them even more.

I mean he was born to be in front of the camera:)

They are the sweetest boys ever!  Cuddling and and tickling one another made it picture perfect!

I am so in love with these three images.  They did so amazing!  This is the point where the boys were so excited to show me other little spots that I could use during their session!  They really got into their pictures lol.

 Robert wouldn’t stop making Julie laugh…I love it!

Birth Photographer | Roxy and Tim | Raleigh NC

I have known both Roxy and Tim for about 2 years.  I was extremely excited when they asked me to photograph Jude’s birth.  It had been awhile since I’d photographed one so, needless to say, I was eager for the day to finally arrive.  I soon received the text I had been waiting for…Roxy messaged me letting me know that it was time for me to head up to the hospital…that she was making progress in her labor.  I arrived at Duke Medical Center and was greeted with 4 smiles when I entered their room.  Tim, Roxy, and her parents were all ready to get things moving and meet Little Jude.  After a very long night…Roxy was soon pushing at around 8am the next morning.  She was so determined to see Jude that she pushed for three and a half hours  but there was no sign of him wanting to come out of his perfect little home.  The doctors made the call for a c-section after seeing her give it all she had.  Not long after, Jude made his appearance weighing 9 POUNDS and 9 OUNCES!!  What a big boy!!!  We were all overjoyed that he was finally here!  He is such a perfect little angel.  

Congrats to the new Mommy and Daddy!!!  I know they are ready to start a new chapter with their sweet bundle of joy.
