I have known both Roxy and Tim for about 2 years. I was extremely excited when they asked me to photograph Jude’s birth. It had been awhile since I’d photographed one so, needless to say, I was eager for the day to finally arrive. I soon received the text I had been waiting for…Roxy messaged me letting me know that it was time for me to head up to the hospital…that she was making progress in her labor. I arrived at Duke Medical Center and was greeted with 4 smiles when I entered their room. Tim, Roxy, and her parents were all ready to get things moving and meet Little Jude. After a very long night…Roxy was soon pushing at around 8am the next morning. She was so determined to see Jude that she pushed for three and a half hours but there was no sign of him wanting to come out of his perfect little home. The doctors made the call for a c-section after seeing her give it all she had. Not long after, Jude made his appearance weighing 9 POUNDS and 9 OUNCES!! What a big boy!!! We were all overjoyed that he was finally here! He is such a perfect little angel.
Congrats to the new Mommy and Daddy!!! I know they are ready to start a new chapter with their sweet bundle of joy.
