Savannah Nights | Family Photographer | Savannah GA

Not only did Mindy, Jon, and I have a session for their engagement but we also decided on a family session to involve their HANDSOME little man, Jacob. Jacob has now been claimed by my daughter, Lana, to be her boyfriend. When Jacob needed a break (like all models do) he would run over and play with her. When it was time for him to work again he would run back over with the biggest smile on his face. There might have been a couple of times where Mommy and Daddy had to pretend to put boogers in my hair….but hey…anything for a laugh.

We had to end the session with grabbing a couple of shots of the beautiful couple.

Mindy and Jon | Savannah GA | Engagement Photographer

I’ve known Mindy since I was in high school. We met through her brothers, who I attended classes with. After high school we lost touch…both of us starting our own families and figuring out what we going to do with the rest of our lives. We reconnected through Facebook and ended up chatting like we had been hanging out along. I photographed Mindy and her son last year and during our session we talked about the possibility of Jon proposing. About three months later I found out that he did just that…Jon proposed to Mindy. Soon thereafter, I got an email from Mindy wondering how I would feel about shooting a wedding in Georgia.

So here we are today with Mindy and Jon’s engagement session. They are a very fun and outgoing couple who complement each other very well. For our shoot we decided on two locations in Savannah Georgia…River Street and Fort Pulaski. Both locations were extremely beautiful and with my couple standing in front of these gorgeous backgrounds it truly made for some AMAZING picture. I cannot thank Mindy and Jon enough for allowing me to be a part of so many special moments in their lives…it truly means the WORLD to me!

Home is Where the Heart is | Raleigh NC | Wedding Photographer

I love getting to shoot with other photographers! Its the best way to build new friendships. This wedding I had the pleasure to shoot with Rebecca with Rebecca Ferguson Photography. Rebecca is seriously my long lost twin. We have the EXACT same personalities which can make for lots of chaos and pure fun! We photographed a GORGEOUS wedding held at the couple’s home (which was stunning in itself) that was BEAUTIFULLY decorated! Their ceremony took place on their back porch due to the rain that day, but you would have never known that wasn’t the original plan since it turned out the be simply PERFECT!
