Lindsey + Mike | Wedding Photographer | Lake Gaston, NC

This was my first time to have Lindsey and Mike in front of my camera. Their wedding was…held in a stunning location of Lake Gaston…a backyard serenity owned by Lindsey’s parents. Right on the lake where the sun would be setting directly across the lake from us! Such yummy yummy yummy light! Afterwards we headed over to “The Magnolia Manor Bed and Breakfast” where EVERYONE partied it up! I even found myself in the middle of a few dance groups…ooooweeee You don’t wanna see this girl break it down lol.

I was so excited to get to work with Amy on this wedding. She is such a sweet and talented lady and would have me rolling with her funny jokes. I am truly honored to have been able to shoot along side of her and getting to photograph such a beautiful couple and their family and friends. Thank you all so very much!!! You make me feel so blessed

Ahhh yes…this lovely couple…Marisa and JT. I think I fell in love with these two three times. Once when we met to talk about their wedding, another when we did their engagement pictures, and again this weekend on their wedding day! I had originally met these two through mutual friends of ours Melissa and Brent and I knew from them being friends with Melissa and Brent their style would be off the wall gorgeous! It held true on the BIG day. The small little details they paid attention were stunning! My favorite part…PIE!!! Marisa and JT went for something different and served pie instead of cake. HOW ADORABLE IS THAT?!?

To the happy couple…may your lives be full of fun…laughter…joy…and amazing style!!!

I am having such an amazing time getting to pack up and photograph out of state weddings! This weekend was one of the weddings I have been looking forward to all year…ever since their engagement session in Savannah, GA.

Dear Mindy and Jon,

I cannot thank you two enough for allowing me to be your photographer on such a very special day. Mindy…I am so blessed to have known you and your family for so long and to have kept the friendship up that started 12 years ago. Jon, you are truly Mindy’s soul mate. To see you two interact with one another and see how well you two compliment each other…I know your love will last for years and years to come!

Love you guys! Can’t wait for OCTOBER!

If you only knew how much I adore these two! From the beginning they were the most sweetest and kindest people I had met. We had such an amazing time during their engagement session and then afterwards they would send me emails with updates about their wedding and ALWAYS made sure to tell me how great my newest blog post was. I was always so excited to receive an email from either one!

Their wedding day was simply BEAUTIFUL!!! Everything seemed to fall perfectly in place for them…things were done to make their wedding extra extra extra special! From the make up artist (Joanne Maye) to the gorgeous Rock Springs Center…everyone did such an amazing job and truly made Chris and Rachel’s wedding one of a kind!

Meet Jeff & Blair | Duke Gardens | Engagement Photographer

What can I say about Jeff and Blair…other than they are so adorable and I CANNOT wait for their wedding!

I met Jeff a couple months ago with his mom and we all instantly clicked. Jeff kept talking about Blair and every time he did his face would light up…I so excited to meet her. At the time she was away for work and on the day of their engagement session I finally got to meet her! Getting to hang with both Jeff and Blair was so much fun! They loved talking about their wedding day and to be honest I was all ears since I love hearing about my clients BIG day and how they plan to celebrate it.

Blair choose the Duke Gardens for their engagement session for a very special reason. Jeff proposed to her this January at Duke Gardens. It was such an honor to photograph their session there since it held a special meaning to them. The timing couldn’t have been better to shoot there since all the flowers were in full bloom…so heavenly!!

The sweetest couple on a windy Spring day Kimberlie and David!

The weddings are in full swing now and I look forward to each and every one of them. Kimberlie and David started out my May weddings and what a great way to start. Back and November we met up for their engagement session and I had a blast hanging out with them! I couldn’t wait for their big day! Wedding day came and it went perfect. There beautiful ceremony was held at the Boylan Bridge Pub and after the party took place at the Busy Bee Cafe where the moves there were off the charts!

These two were meant to be together. YAY for love and YAY for marriage!!!

What an AMAZING wedding to photograph! Not only did I get to shoot for Kimberlee with Kimberlee Edwards Photography but this couple knew how to truly P-A-R-T-Y! If you have never been to the The Oaks at Salem you need to check this gorgeous venue out…such a beautiful place to be married. Ashli and Matt were married under a beautiful oak tree a couple hours before sunset which made the lighting so rich and creamy. I am so honored to have been able to be there for their wedding! Congrats to Ashli and Matt!!

I am truly lucky to photograph such BEAUTIFUL couples! Denise and Dustin showed up to our session dressed to the nine…both wearing a very chic and classy wardrobe. They’re planning their wedding for this year in Austin, Texas. We talked about their ideas for the wedding and I just know that it will be spectacular. Trish and Eric are the one of the sweetest couples I know. They met each other through Match.com and fell in love when they first laid eyes on one another. I feel so blessed to have been there for their wedding day witnessing true love and its entirety. Their gorgeous wedding and reception was held at the Cardinal Club in downtown Raleigh. Surrounded by windows and views of downtown that would take your breath away made it to be a perfect location for a wedding! Congrats to these two adorable love birds!!
