Ryan contacted me asking if I would photograph him proposing to Cami…the catch…it was a surprise. Ryan and I had numerous ideas on how he should pull it off. We came up with one involving him telling her that he wanted to do a photoshoot at Duke Gardens with her. Kinda like a spur of the moment type deal. Everything was going according to plan until Ryan and I had to change a couple things around to where Cami would be solo for the first 45 minutes and then Ryan would show up later on. Once I mentioned the idea to Cami she responded saying ”Not this time. This was Ryan’s idea…and I think he is going to propose!”
As soon as I read her message Ryan and I figured that we needed to come up with something quick. I immediately told her that Ryan wanted to get a couple of pictures of her to print large for a surprise he was planning at Christmas. I begged her to not tell Ryan that I was letting her in on his plan (while I giggled under my breath while typing) and reassured her that her thinking of a proposal is probably correct but not until Christmas. SHE BOUGHT IT! Phew!
